About This Item
Winona Lake, Indiana: The Rodeheaver Hall-Mack Company, 1943. Later printing. Wraps. Fine. 6-3/4 x 10" stapled pebbled peach wraps. Unpaginated, but 51 spirituals on [46] pages. But for a single drop of damp-staining on the upper wrap, fine, without flaw. Spirituals "discovered" during Rodeheaver's stint as music director for Billy Sunday's evangelical campaign (he served in that capacity from 1910 to 1930) at Columbia, S.C. in 1923, and arranged by Herbert. First issued in 1923 under the Rodeheaver Company imprint.
