New York & London: Macmillan/ William Heinemann, 1900. First English language edition. Hardcover. Very Good. xiv + 198 pages. 9 1/2 X 12 1/2 in. high. Red buckram with black lettering & decoration on spine & cover. With 14 tissue-protected photogravure plates and numerous text illustrations. Condition of book is VERY GOOD; An abrasion of 1 in. in length, at the base of the fore edge of the rear cover, where the cloth & board are worn away 1/8 in., endpapers & frontispiece are lightly foxed, text & the other illustrations & plates are very clean, binding is tight.
