The English critic's study of the heritage of 19th century Romantic poetry has Part One - Romantic Dilemmas, and Part Two - The Romantic Survival, in which Yeats, Auden, and Dylan Thomas are individually discussed. 8vo, dark blue cloth with silver gilt lettering on sunned spine, scant wear to exterior, faint foxing to edges; foxing to end papers and a few pages at the beginning and end of the book, with a stray spots on a few interior pages. Name of former owner Prof. Warner Berthoff written on ffep, his marginalia in pencil, in a small, neat hand, on approximately 35 pages.
