The photograph used for both the front cover and the jacket is of model Beverly Allen, taken by Edmund Shea in the panhandle of Golden Gate Park, San Francisco. Octavo. Original red boards with black and white photographic illustrations, spine and covers lettered in black. With dust jacket. Spine ends bumped, ends and tips rubbed, a touch of offsetting to front free endpaper. A near-fine copy in bright jacket, unclipped, a few short closed tears to extremities and spine panel, extremities a touch rubbed and creased, still sharp.
