Toronto, Canada: McClelland & Steward Limited, 1932. Very Scarce. 199 pages in very good condition. This essay is based upon two papers read to the Arts Society at Newnham and the Odtaa at Girton in October 1928. Pages are clean and unmarked. Deckle edges, lightly darkened. Bound in dark blue cloth, titles on spine worn off. Previous owner's inscription on ffep. Lighlty worn on the corners. Book is solid. VG.. 1st Canadian Edition. Hardcover. Very Good.

Synopsis

A Room of One's Own was first published in October 1929 in the UK and USA alike as a limited edition run of 492 numbered, signed copies. The first English edition and impression was released three days later with the Vanessa Bell dust jacket, published by Hogarth Press, the Woolfs' own publishing house. The first US edition was published by Harcourt Brace & Co.
