The top edge of the text blocks is slightly spotted with foxing, and unfortunately the previous owner owned a large circular stamp about 2 inches in diameter with a owl and their name, and used it on the dedication page and on the title page. No other damage to describe. The novelisation of the author's own family history. From the taking of a 16-year-old slave in 1767, Kunta Kinte, through six generations to the present day.
