The book is in fine condition except for fore-edge foxing which does not extend onto page faces, no foxing on page faces, no previous owner marks or writing on any pages, clean covers, no fading, no rubbing, tight binding. The dust jacket has no tears, no chips, no rubbing, is clean, complete, no fading. The book measures 221mm tall x 135mm, and has 320 pages, 46 b/w photos, 4 maps, index. Climbing autobiography: Europe, Asia, N & S America, Africa. Gray was joint leader with Don Whillans on the 1964 expedition to Gaurisankar which almost reached top (chapter on this). PHOTOS ARE OF THE ACTUAL BOOK BEING OFFERED.
