Reviews
On Dec 4 2014, a reader said:
Sub Rosa is written by a graduate of West Point class of 41. de Silva was in charge of Los Almos security in its infancy. He delivered the bombs that were to be dropped on Japan to finish off the Japanese. He disappeared at this point joining the OSS. He came back to the spotlight only when his office was blown up by a car bomb and he lost sight in one eye. His secretary was the first female to die in Viet Nam. He was the consulate spy. His book tells the story of his times in Vienna dealing with his Russian counterpart. Fascinating read for those that are thrilled with real espionage. He was to join the Long Gray line 6 months before the book was published. I highly recommend this great read
