A new edition of the original essay from 1912, this explores the relationship of the author with his mystic friends Josef Ševšik and Josef Váchal. It includes an updated catalogue raisonné of sorts and extended discussion of Váchal‘s work to date, with photos of Váchal (rare, dating from 1925 and with tissue guard) and Ševčik. With an original color woodcut frontispiece by Váchal. A fresh copy, near fine with light fading on rear cover. Signed by Deml on front fly.
