New Haven: Yale University Press, 1939. First Edition . Cloth. Fine/Very Good-. 4to - over 9¾" - 12" tall. Presentation copy to Cecil Lang (? Cecil Y. Lang, a long time professor at Syracuse, Chicago, and Virginia who specialized in 19th century British literature as part of his doctoral studies at Harvard ?) SIGNED by Editor Janet Camp Troxell, daughter of Walter Camp. Troxell's collection of manuscripts and research materials relating to the Rossettis and their circle are held at the Princeton University Library. Illuminating study re-evaluating Dante Gabriel Rossetti's poem and his various changes in the text from 1854-1881. Among the illustrations is a reproduction of part of the rare Dusseldorf Album for 1854 in which "Sister Helen" was first printed. 95 pp. Nine illustrations of some of Rossetti's changes from manuscripts, proofs and books, one of which is a fold-out measuring approximately 13 by 17 inches. Black cloth boards with very bright gilt title to spine. Tightly bound and very clean. Dust jacket, now protected in mylar, has original price on flap. Jacket has browning and wear to edges, two small minor damp stains at jacket spine, and about a 1.5 inch chip to top of spine area not affecting any text. This signed copy, a work of keen scholarship, is scarce in any format or condition.

New York, Grove Press, 2022, trade paperback, 272 pp, Advance Uncorrected Proof (ARC), New. Straight, tight and clean with no wear or markings in bright, pictorial card covers, no dustjacket as issued. The pieces in this collection, written between 1956 and 1961 and including short fiction, a radio play, and a stunning early novel, offer startling insights into Cohens imagination and creative process. Trumansburg, NY: Out of Step Press. Fine with no dust jacket. 2016. Numbered Edition; First Printing. Pamphlet. The author's non-linear poem about the billeting of soldiers in civilian homes in wartime. Copy 89 of a limited edition of 250. Folded into the form of a letter, the work was letterpress printed in wraps of handmade "combat paper" made from military uniforms. The author says: "Some time ago-maybe a year, maybe two? I had a conversation with some of my Combat Paper brothers (well, the kids call them their combat paper uncles, so it follows…) that led to me writing the poem "Quartering." Which was informed by them, of course, and by all the rooms I'm in, and by imagining what is really required of all the caregivers I love.
