Ward, Lock & Co. Limited, 1111. Hardcover. Acceptable. No Edition Remarks. 343 pages. Half bound in leather with marbled paper covered boards. First half of contents page, as well as page before half title, missing. Black and white illustrated plates. Minor thumb marking, foxing and tanning to pages and plates. More prominent to text block edges. Moderate cracking to hinges, exposing netting and causing some looseness to binding but pages remain attached. Mild creasing to gutters. Boards have moderate corner bumping and edge-wear with visible tanning, peeling and scuffing overall. Spine has heavier tanning with noticeable splitting, rubbing and crushing to ends. Book has a slight forward lean. Lettering remains bright and clear.
