London: Cassell and Company Hardcover without dust jacket, undated (c1900), "Seventeenth Thousand" printing, 326 pages, plus several full page black-and-white llustrations; grey covers with lettering and pictorials on front cover and spine, very gently used, tight in binding, gentle bumps to spine ends and two cover corners, only light traces of shelf wear to covers but there is a 15 mm (half inch) cut to the front cover bottom, free front endpaper removed, very clean and unmarked throughout, light foxing to pages before and after illustrations, some scattered light foxing to fewer than ten pages, but virtually all surprisingly fresh and white, none of the usual child's markings... Hard Cover. Very Good ++.
