Rufino Tamayo died in 1991. The original book of this title was published in 1982. He was still working until his death. This edition was published in 1995 with his later work. There are 250 pages of full color reproductions of his work. Jacque Lassaigne was an internationally known writer, curator, critic of contemporary art. Octavio Paz was a writer, poet and philosopher, both men of immense acclaim. The book and dust jacket are both in near fine condition with very slight shelf wear. There are no interior markings. The text is in English. The jacket is protected in Brodart mylar.
