Written by his son, this biography covers the life and career of a distinguished British Liberal politician and judge who became the Lord Chief Justice of England, Viceroy of India, and Foreign Secretary. Bound in original publisher's red cloth binding with blue labels and gilt printing on spine and cover. Contains frontis portrait of Isaacs and eight additional illustrations. Some pages are still uncut indicating that this book was never read (they can be easily cut with a sharp knife). A nice clean, tight and unmarked book with no internal or external markings. Spine is very slightly darker than cover. ; B&W Illustrations; 8vo, 8"- 9" tall; 324 pages .
