Original dark blue boards with gilt spine titling and gilt eagle image to front board. xi 376+ pages with b/w illiustrations, plates and folding maps, stains to boards with corners lightly bumped, has Royal Scottish Geographical Society label to fep with embossed stamps to title page, inner hinge badly cracked and some tan spots but still in good tight clean reading order.
