About This Item
New York: Abbeville Press, 2002. First Edition, First Printing so stated with full number line. Near Fine/Near Fine. 175 pp. Folio. 9 1/2 x 13 3/8 inches. Hardcover. Black cloth covered boards with red spine lettering and blindstamped title on front board. Book Condition: Near Fine. Binding tight and square, corners sharp, text unmarked and apparently unread, edges clean and white. Dust Jacket Condition: Near Fine to Very Good+. Tiniest of dings here and there but also a lack of sparkle that a DJ needs to have to be considered in Fine condition. That said the colors are bright and fresh, tips sharp, extremities book store keen. Heidi Hollinger has captured the spirit of the Russian people with sympathetic portraits that reveal how some emerging Russians relish their new opportunities while others, rooted in the past, struggle to survive in their changing world. 175 photographs, 140 in full color.
