Amsterdam: N.V. Dagblad En Drukkerij De Standaard, 1934 First edition, 1934 attractive cover, black boards with gold medallion and lettering. Mark on spine, no dust jacket. 610 pages. Hinge cracked at front of book and one page is loose. Former owner stamp on half title page. One by two inch piece removed from upper corner of first half title page and a small rectangle has been cut out of the title page. Pulled section leaving thin spot on first page of Preface. Still square solid and sturdy. Edges dustsoiled, pages lightly toned.
