Hardcover with the scarce dustjacket, seventeenth printing, includes illustrations and a map, book has small points of wear at the bottom corners, the former owner's name is present on the first blank page, the rear hinge has some cracking but has been suitably repaired with professional binding adhesive, the front hinge has slight play, the binding remains tight and the contents are fine, the orange cloth is bright as are the gold titles, the jacket has some edge-loss at the spine-tips which partially affects the first two letters of the title, a few edge-chips are present and the orange portion of the spine is faded to beige, there are also several unnecessary tape-reinforcements on the underside of the jacket but they are hidden by the professional (removable) mylar cover that we provide .
