Foxing more noticeable towards the start and end of the book. Pencil inscriptions to front endpaper. Boards have some moderate edge wear, with slight bumping to corners and minor bumping to spine ends. Boards a little rubbed and marked overall. Slight split to upper front joint. Spine is slightly sunned. Book has a moderate forward lean.

GB: Sampson Low, Marston, 1938. Not dated but about 1938. Inscription of owner at start of book. Fairly clean tight text but covers although sound are bit marked. Book is in good double plus condition with noticeable signs of wear and/or age. . Hardback. G++/No DW.

Occasional light foxing to folio edges. Slight offsetting to front and rear end papers. Previous owners inscription on half title page. Clean text with b/w illustrations.
