Part III: Falmouth to the Loire. Pages have mild tanning and foxing throughout, moderate at end-papers, paste-downs and text-block edges. Previous owner's inscription to front free end-paper. Plates are bright and clear. 1 loose plate at page 194. Noticeable cracking to gutters, however binding remains firm. Boards have moderate edge-wear with bumping to corners and rubbing to surfaces. Mild crushing to spine ends. Book has a slight forward lean. Gilt lettering is bright and clear. Sunning to spine. Top edge of text block is dust marked. Visible white marks to rear.
