About This Item
London: Country Life Ltd, 1967. Tears to top edge of unclipped dustwrapper, with the top corners missing at front and back panels. Minor bumping to spine ends and corners of light blue boards, a previous owner's name on f/ep, but otherwise a good tight copy of this hard-cover book. Memoirs by the author on his many years in the Royal Navy before WW2, and on horsey topics, as he was Hunting Correspondent for the Daily Telegraph from the late 1930s onwards. 128pp, 25 b&w illustrations.. First Edition. Hard Cover. Good/Fair. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
