Blue cloth lettered in gilt with color illustration mounted on the front cover, patterned endpapers, 96 pages. Covers have some finger soil and edgewear, with light fraying to corners and spine ends, good hinges, sound text block, two bits of old adhesive on the front pastedown, a few tiny chips and closed tear to the far lower margins, light foxing to dedication page, very minor old transparent stain to the far top margins, gift notation on the verso of the front free endpaper, pages otherwise unmarked and generally clean with a few instances of light finger soil.. Light rubbing to the extremities, just a touch of barely noticeable finger soil to the cover, gilt somewhat dulled but very clearly legible, good hinges, sound text block, slightly age-toned but clean pages, no names or other markings.. Hard Cover. Very Good. 12mo - over 6¾" - 7¾" tall.

Inscribed: Robert Frost Springfield March 8 1917, on the title page. Frost's first book of poetry. Blue cloth printed in gilt, very light rubbing to corners and spine ends, good hinges, sound text block, clean pages, no other names or markings. The mylar protected dustjacket has the 75 crossed out and replaced with 100 on the front and spine, two old masking tape repairs to the front joint and along the rear flap edge to hold the dustjacket together, spine darkened a chipped due to the repairs, "A" from the title chipped away at spine head, dates in pancil below title on front panel. . Very good copy with very light rubbing to corners and spine ends, good hinges, firm text block, very clean pages with an old gift notation on the reverse side of the frontis illustration, no other markings..
