C.R. Barns, 1876. Hardcover. Very Good. Very thick royal 8vo, full morocco, raised bands with gilt titles in compartments, gilt extra on both boards, all edges gilt, marbled endsheets, gilt dentelles. Binding tight and square, rear hinge cracked, corners pushed and lightly rubbed, modest rubbing to the gutters and spine ends, both boards very slighty bowed. The text block is generally fresh, the engraved portraits unmarred.
