The First UK printing published by Faber and Faber, London in 1935. The BOOK is in near Fine condition. Bound by Asprey, London in full dark blue/black morocco, the spine lettered in gilt, five raised bands, with tooling and decorations to the spine, hand-marbled end-leaves. All edges gilt with a few light scratches to the upper gilt text-block. Free from inscriptions. A handsome copy ofWilliamson's classic tale which is dedicated to T.E. Lawrence and V.M. Yeates.
