Green coloured cloth covered boards with small yellow coloured illustration to the lower right-hand corner of the front panel and yellow coloured titles to the back strip. Illustrated dustwrapper with green coloured titles to the front panel and back strip. This collection of Oscar Wilde's work was first published, by this publishing house, in 1908. Three plays from this iconic author.  Softening and sunning, sunning commencement with loss of dustwrapper, to the back strip with rubbing of the top book corners, bumping to the lower corners and rubbing of the lower book edges. Some patchy fading along the edges and some foxing spots can be seen to the top edge of the front panel. Uniform tanning of the text block edges and age toning of the pages. Foxing to the text block edges, with foxing spots to the first few and last few pages of the book. Original bookseller's sticker to the lower right-hand corner of the front paste-down – which has ghosted on to the three front end page. The dustwrapper is in appalling condition – please see photograph. Chipping to the dustwrapper corners and there are large pieces missing from the back strip. Tears, creases and rubbing of the top dustwrapper edge with very heavy sunning to the back strip. Insect damage can be seen to the fold over creases and panels.
