Very Good. C. W. Carter, Salt Lake City, Utah. 4 ½” x 7”. Very Good. Photographer’s imprint stamped on verso; reads “C. W. Carter - S. L. City. ” Published circa 1890s. Title and contemporary notes in manuscript. Mount has light soiling, photo has light fading. Cabinet card depicting the Saltair resort found on the Great Salt Lake. It was completed in 1893 and was the most successful resort along the lakeshore. It was associated with the LDS Church and the Salt Lake & Los Angeles Railway. This image depicts the grandeur of the building along with resort-goers in the Lake. Mautz 601. .
