Two volumes. This set includes: Samba and the Monkey Mind, 1965. First edition. With sixty-three photographs on plates. An affectionate study on a family of woolly monkeys. Written by Leonard Williams. The Monkey Puzzle: A Family Tree, 1982. First edition. Illustrated with sixteen plates and many in-text figures. A biological mapping of the route from monkey to modern man. Written by John Gribbin, a British scientific writer and astrophysicist, and Jeremy Cherfas, a British biologist. Both texts were previously held in the library of Desmond Morris, an English zoologist, ethologist, and surrealist painter known as a popular author of human sociobiology. In the original cloth binding. Externally, excellent. Original unclipped dust wrappers are very smart with light shelf wear only. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright and clean.
