Speckled edges. viii, 872 pp. Engraved frontis. portrait of Andersen w/tissue guard. Professionally rebacked with original spine laid down over black buckram. Light rubbing and wear commensurate with age. Some light foxing and rust staining. Damp staining to lower corner of front half of text block. Ink ownership inscription to flyleaf, and a few pencil notations throughout. A complete nineteenth-century edition of the fairy tales of Hans Christian Andersen translated into German. 0.
