Chatto & Windus, 1957. Hardcover. Acceptable. The boards are shelf rubbed, edge worn and sunned. It also shows minor marks and signs of previous dampness. There is a rubber stamp at the inside of the front board as well as rubber stamps at the inside of the back board. Foxing is evident on the first few pages as well as on the last few pages. Foxing can also be found on the blocks. There is a previous owner's inscription on the front block as well as the front end page. Inscriptions also a the second end page. There are also residue of a previous library date list. It is still internally clean and tightly bound. Complete with 318 pages. [B.K.]. Book has a dust jacket, and a clear plastic jacket. Pages are tanned. Pages have no notes or highlighting. The cover and spine have some wear but remain intact.
