Stated First Edition. 6.50 x 9.50". Pale green cloth with blind stamp to front panel, red and green lettering on spine; red endpapers; interior pages printed in red, blue, green, and black. Jacket is olive green and white with white, red and black lettering and an illustration of Santa Claus. Text is clean, tight, appears unread and unmarked. Jacket is NOT price-clipped, shows minimal wear to top edge, a bit of rubbing to spine, some dings but overall in excellent shape with good color, no fading or tears. Humorist Nash, in his inimitable style, has written a "remarkable expose of the childhood of Santa Claus and the bizarre psychological quirk which impels him even in old age to go on giving things away." 56 pages, "embellished by" 40 colorful drawings of Robert Osborn;
