Boards have light shelfwear present (marble paper covered boards are rubbed and worn). Previous owner's name and contemporary gift inscription (1821) present to the FFEP. Previous owner's stage notes present to the reverse of the contents page and followed by a few more pages of stage directions and notes present to the margins. Text is otherwise clean and free of marks. Binding tight and solid. George Gordon Byron (later Noel) , 6th Baron Byron, FRS (22 January 1788 – 19 April 1824) , commonly known simply as Lord Byron, was an English poet and a leading figure in the Romantic movement.
