When he got there she told him more: that his brother had been murdered, his throat cut with a straight razor, and that he'd been involved with some Mexican girl who lived on the island. This last bit Sam couldn't understand; Rafe had always lived with boisterous discretion. He had been loyal and true to Rene. Something was off-key here. Something was missing. Sam had yet to find out about the Satanist cult on the island ...
