Size 12mo, 324 and 355 pages including indices. Quarter dark green morocco over green cloth covered boards with raised bands and gilt titles and frames/scrolls to the spines, marbled end-papers. Condition good, ex-library, the Bibliotheque Guille-Alles in Guernsey with their labels to the spines front covers and front paste-downs, no other markings. Corners hinges and edges rubbed, head and tail of spines rubbed and chipped, spots to first and last few pages, text pages slightly toned else contents very clean. Text is in French. The history of Satire in French Literature. Size: 12mo - over 6¾ - 7¾" tall
