First edition, fold-out pamphlet, 5 x 18; pp. 8; small spot to front and a faint crease to lower corner of last leaf, else minor wear; illustrated; near fine condition.An advertisement and cookbook combined, the pamphlet extolled the benefits of making sauces and toppings with beat sugar, listed the nine famous brands of that sugar at the time, and supplied recipes, such as Mocha Sundae Sauce, Red Raspberry Sauce, and Orange Sweet Potato Sauce. Also featured were several interesting facts about sugar including the interesting statement that it was a fact consuming sugar was very important for staying on a diet.
