About This Item

London: Cassell, 1935. First Edition. Hard Cover. Dust Jacket. (London: Cassell and Company, Limited 1935). First UK Edition. Publisher's dark blue binding with gilt lettering and a single gilt rule at both top and bottom of the spine. It is dated [1935] on the copyright page which also has the printer's code F60.235. Contains 8 short stories. A bookseller's ticket to the rear paste-down otherwise a near fine (or better) copy. In the RARE D/W priced 7/6 net to the spine as called for. A former owner has had small strips of professional paper replacement at spine tips and at a couple of points along top edge not affecting lettering. The back panel is clean and un-foxed. Shows as a lovely near fine example. Scans invited
