Presentation inscription from Leonard Baskin (first name only) on the colophon. One of twenty-five copies printed in Binney Oldstyle on Amalfi paper for Philadelphia collector and attorney, Edwin Rome. The bibliographers note that an unspecified number of the twenty-five copies were specially bound by Arno Werner in leather. The text is a translated selection from Alcuin's 8th century DISPUTATIO IUVENIS PIPPINI CUM ALBINO SCHOLASTICO. Scarce, OCLC locates nine of the twenty-five copies in institutional collections.
