Large format hardcover with dustjacket, "A survey of the remarkable achievements of Joseph Schumpeter in economics and in many other fields, written by an outstanding group of American and foreign economists," 142 pages, illustrated with photos, book is in excellent condition, a bookplate on the inside of the front cover and mild tanning to the blank end-papers are the only remarkable flaws, the jacket has two rather long (5 inches and 3 inches) edge-tears on the front panel and a few short edge-tears along with associated creasing, the jacket is clean and remains presentable with no loss other than a small area at the top of the front panel, the front panel photo of Schumpeter is not affected by the flaws, the original price (4.00) is present and a professional (removable) mylar cover is included .
