New York: New American Library, 1963. First edition. Hardcover. First American edition. 320 pp. Bound in publisher's black cloth with gilt spine lettering. Top and fore edges heavily foxed, otherwise in nice shape, in a Very Good dust jacket, tiny chip at head, light rubbing, unclipped ($5.95).
The book that introduced many to the concept of Transcendental Meditation, which proved to be wildly popular in the '60s and '70s, with famous devotees such as The Beatles, The Beach Boys, and Ravi Shankar.
