VG- for age/No Jacket. 14 Cms x 20 Cms. xxvi+444; browning to outer sides of endpapers, eraseable pencil notes on rear pastedown and another verso rear endpaper, very occasional short marginal pencil lines of little consequence as easily eraseable; covers minimally worn and clean but patches of pigment loss to both boards but especially front, spine faded but gilt lettering fine. A very comprehensive review of the topic reaching what seems to be, on brief inspection, a broadly Utilitarian position. Includes discussion of psychological aspects such as motivation, nature of altruism etc. Note: quoted shipping rates are calculated for 500-700 gram net weight, cost will be modified up or down as appropriate outside this range.
