Darkening to the glue of the front and rear paste downs. The binding is in good shape, nice reading copy. No dust jacket. Bound in blue leather or pseudoleather. Hard to tell, but I lean toward the latter. Has mild edge wear, top and bottom. Gilt print and decoration on the front and spine. Originally published in 1952, so there has been some demand. Currently a rare book. Proposes that everything that ails you can be determined by gazing into your eyes, specifically the iris. SPOILER ALERT***if you are one who tends to believe every whacky idea that comes down the line, read no further. This "diagnostic" method has been thoroughly debunked, more than once, yet there are still practitioners who will use it to help separate you from your money. Consider this as a collectible item for its curiosity value and not as something with value in medicine. Save gazing into someone's eyes for other purposes.
