Collated, complete.This is one of the most important works of Christian esotericism, in which Leadbeater discusses the energies of the sacraments. 'The Fourth Way', by P. D. Ouspensky, based on the teachings of G. I. Gurdjieff. The third edition, published in 1967.This work explores Ouspensky's teachings which have been dubbed the 'Fourth Way', in which he teaches on self-development in esoteric circles.'The Cloud of Unknowing', a 1997 new edition, introduced by Laurence Freeman, the original Middle English text rendered by Evelyn Underhill.This is an important spiritual guide on contemplative prayer, giving an insight into religious beliefs and practice in the Middle Ages, first written in the latter half of the fourteenth century. 'The Science of the Sacraments' and 'The Cloud of Unknowing' are in the original publisher's cloth binding, 'The Fourth Way' in the original paper covered boards. Externally, generally smart. Light bumping to the head and tail of the spines and to the extremities. Worn label to the tail of the spine of 'The Fourth Way'. Tear to the tail of the rear joint of 'Science of the Sacraments'. Spine, joints, and head of the front board of 'Cloud of Unknowing' are faded, with a label to the rear board. Only a few minor marks. 'Fourth Way' rear board is a little age-toned. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are bright and clean. Very Good
