First state of the text with the incomplete number 8 in the publication date to the verso of the title page and the s present on the last word of page 88. A bright and clean copy in the red and black snakeskin design cloth with gilt lettering to the spine. A hint of rubbing to the corners but a lovely bright and sharp example with the front panel from the original first issue 'Daily Beast' mock newspaper dustwrapper loosely inserted.
