Scott writes a defense of the modern cooking stove after, "a speaker at the Prophetic Convention, held some time ago in Chicago, shivered a lance against the cooking-stove." Scott argues that the cooking stove (domestic and ecclesiastical) does not undermine the principles of Christianity. Fine condition, in cream publisher's wrappers slightly discolored due to aging.
