Edinburgh: Edmonston and Douglas, 1871. Cloth. Very Good. 5 x 7 1/4 inches. lxxii + 139 numbered pages + 4 page catalogue. Ownership inscription "R.B. Scott October 1900" to ffep. Pages bright and clean. Bound in brown cloth with paper spine label. Slight loss to head and wear to tail of spine edges, and label. Slight bleaching to cover. A very good copy of this history of the antecedents to the First Scottish BCP of 1637. Includes the text of the two drafts.
