Paterson & Sons. Hardcover. Fair/No Jacket. Fair ; No jacket. Paterson & Sons, no date (ca. 1900). Hardcover book has thin brown pebble-texture leatherette cloth-covered boards with gold cover lettering. No title on spine. All page edges gilt. Endpapers have overall pattern of brown flowers. One full-page yellow, black, & white illustration for the first song: "The Auld House O' Gask". Bottom outer corner of front cover is creased; board is cracked, as well as endpaper. Covers rubbed. Corners and spine ends bumped and rounded; frayed in spots. Front hinge cracked with webbing quite visible. Bottom 2 inches of front free endpaper partially detached. Name and date (1910), and 'Glasgow Scotland' in pencil on verso of front free endpaper. Pages tanned, but unmarked. A few pages are dog eared. Several cracks in binding between signatures, but no pages loose. 223 pages plus 5 pages of publisher's advertisements. No dust jacket. "Arranged for medium voices with pianoforte accompaniment."
