Very Good/Good. 1953, First Edition, with the following issue points (DJ price of $2.50; 8 (eight) titles listed on back of dust jacket and back cover of the book, starting with "If I Ran the Zoo" and ending with "And to Think That I saw it on Mulberry Street). Hardcover, 4to., glossy blue covers. A Very Good copy in a Good dust jacket. Board edges and corners worn; light wear to spine ends; small snag to the crown of the spine. The text is absolutely Fine; bright, clean and unmarked contents. Previous owner's pencil signature on the front blank is easily erasable. The DJ is worn along all folds and edges; shallow loss to the bottom right corner of the front panel and the spine ends; closed tear to top left corner of the front panel; other snags and shallow chipping along the edges. The DJ is mostly clean, and the inner flaps are in nice shape, with the original price intact. The DJ is now housed in a mylar wrap. True 1st edition.
