Tear at top edge of title page (serving as upper wrapper), small, discreet rubberstamp "Sold by AAS" at spine edge of last leaf, else Good to Very Good overall. A short tale by the immensely prolific author following the travails of a poor Boston seamstress named Lizzy Glenn, later published in 1859 as "Lizzy Glenn, or The Trials of a Seamstress." WRIGHT I 153.
