About This Item
Berkley, 1978. 2nd Edition . Hardcover. Fine. Signed by both author Roger Kahn and Cincinnati Reds star Johnny Bench. This is a beautiful, bright and crisp second printing copy of the paperback edition. The book is tight and square with no reading creases and no internal markings - save for the two signatures on the title page. Bench, one of the greatest catchers of all time, is featured in chapter 7 of this typically lyrical and fascinating book by one of baseball's greatest writers. Uncommon signed at all. Rare as hen's teeth signed by both Messers Kahn and Bench.
