Description:
First edition first printing of this stand alone mystery novel. Also published under the title The Injured Lover. First free end page is missing. The pages are tanned in stripes running through each page almost like a wood grain. The dustjacket has two - 1 inch long close tears to the bottom edge of the front dustjacket panel. Price clipped otherwise in fair / very good condition.

The hardcover book is in good minus condition, free from rips, tear, bends, and writing. There is light foxing on the top page edges. The boards are in good minus condition with light edge wear and a few minor marks. The binding is tight and square.
