New York: Farrar & Rinehart. Fair in New dust jacket. 1940. First Edition; First Printing. Hardcover. Cover corners and spine ends worn. External hinges worn with a split along the rear hinge about half of the length of the spine in each direction. The spine head is also split. Internally, the binding is broken and held by the mull at the title page. Binding is otherwise sound and functional. Several small stains and signs of repeat readings found throughout the text. Facsimile dust jacket is in as new condition. ; 8vo 8" - 9" tall; 471 pages .
